ApeCoin DAO, the decentralized autonomous organization behind ApeCoin （APEUSD）, is evaluating a proposal to establish a Bored Ape-themed hotel in a prime location in Bangkok. The proposal, submitted by pseudonymous DAO member DeSmart, involves renovating a preexisting hotel with Bored Ape Yacht Club （BAYC） themes, including an APE-themed bar and a swimming pool.

DeSmart is requesting $356,000 in APE tokens to fund the project, which includes a range of benefits for ApeCoin holders. These benefits encompass 50 nights of free accommodation for holders, capped at one night per holder, to increase the visibility and utility of ApeCoin. The proposal also includes a revenue-sharing model, where 50% of the revenue from APE-themed rooms will be returned to the ApeCoin DAO for one year after completion.
