Bitget has announced its ambitious entry into the metaverse through a new partnership with Upland, a leading immersive Web3 gaming platform. This collaboration marks Bitget’s commitment to offering an innovative and engaging experience for its users. Bitget will establish the “Traders’ Hub” on Treasure Island, featuring the Bitget Headquarters and an educational café.
In a strategic move, Bitget has purchased Treasure Island, the last unminted neighborhood in Upland’s San Francisco, which consists of 888 virtual properties. These properties will serve as rewards, presenting a unique opportunity for users to acquire unminted properties in a fully sold-out neighborhood.
To commemorate this partnership, Bitget will host a series of giveaway campaigns, including:
– Bitget Launchpool to Farm SPARKLET: Users can earn airdrops within Upland.
– Utility of SPARKLET in Upland: Stake SPARKLET for UPX rewards, build structures, or create no-code NFTs to enhance rewards.
– Leaderboard Challenge: Compete for exclusive rewards, including properties on Treasure Island and a unique Bitget car replica NFT.
Upland users who owned SPARKLET prior to the Token Generation Event (TGE) will be rewarded with a special pool of 3.5 million SPARKLET tokens distributed over the next six months. Additionally, Bitget will reward these users with a drop from a $50,000 pool of Bitget Token (BGB).
The token generation event (TGE) for SPARKLET will be a major highlight, allowing platform users to have priority access. The farming for SPARKLET begins at 13:00 (UTC) on July 24th and ends on August 3rd, 2024. Users can stake BGB to earn from a total prize pool of 7,000,000 SPARKLET tokens, and the SPARKLET/USDT pair will be listed on the Bitget Spot market with trading commencing simultaneously.
“At Bitget, our support for crypto gems goes beyond a simple listing. We are dedicated to helping promising projects gain more visibility, users, and partners through our Launchpool, Launchpad, and various educational and reward initiatives. Our collaboration with Upland to create a Bitget-themed metaverse is a mutually beneficial and exciting endeavor. We aim to become the top choice for more emerging projects in the future, aiding them in creating a greater real-life impact,” said Gracy Chen, CEO at Bitget.
Dirk Lueth, Upland’s co-founder and co-CEO, expressed his enthusiasm about the partnership:
“At Upland, we love innovating with partners. Our initial discussions with Bitget made it evident that this would be a fantastic collaboration.
